Two men have been charged in connection with a raid at the Post Office in Gamlingay, Cambridgeshire.
Police were called to the Post Office on Cinques Road shortly before 9.30pm on Sunday, 29 September, following reports of a break-in.
Following an investigation, two men — aged 32 and 33, both from The Warrens, Bedford — were arrested on 1 October. They have since been charged with conspiring to commit a burglary between 9 August and 2 October, and conspiring to steal a motor vehicle.
The pair appeared before Luton Magistrates’ Court on 3 October and have been remanded in custody to appear at Luton Crown Court on 3 November.
