A former Cambridgeshire Police officer will face a gross misconduct hearing later this month over allegations he shared confidential information and sent explicit images while on duty.
Former PC Keiran Teanby is accused of breaching the Standards of Professional Behaviour under the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020, relating to Confidentiality, Orders and Instructions, and Discreditable Conduct.
The allegations state that prior to 17 October 2024, Teanby took a photograph of himself in uniform exposing his buttocks and sent the image to a member of the public. He also allegedly shared a screenshot of a message from his sergeant, made comments on it, and passed it to another member of the public.
It is further claimed that Teanby shared a photograph from a police search scene and recorded a copy of body-worn video footage by filming a computer screen, which he then sent to a member of the public.
The hearing will take place on Monday, 20 October 2025, starting at 10am at Lysander House, Station Road, Tempsford (SG19 2AX). It will be open to both in-person and online attendees
