A man has died following a four-vehicle crash on the A16 near Newborough, Cambridgeshire.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 7.15pm on Sunday, 5 October, after reports of a collision involving a grey Hyundai IX35, a grey Volvo XC90, a grey Ford Focus, and a grey Ford Galaxy.

The driver of the Hyundai, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the other vehicles sustained minor injuries and were treated by paramedics.

The road was closed for several hours while collision investigation officers examined the scene and recovery work took place.

The Police have now launched an appeal for witnesses and are asking anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
